With a rich blend of international and domestic legal experience, Mabel Verona brings exceptional dedication and insight to Bogle Law's family law practice. Educated at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, she earned both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws, building upon her foundational legal education from the University of Havana. Fluent in Spanish, Attorney Verona is well-positioned to serve clients from diverse backgrounds and guide them through complex legal matters with compassion, skill, and clear communication.
Attorney Verona began her legal career in Cuba, where she practiced real estate law and contract management. As an In-House Legal Advisor, she provided legal guidance and drafted contracts within the tourism and real estate sectors. After relocating to the United States, she expanded her legal experience and developed a strong focus on helping individuals and families navigate life's most significant transitions. Impressed by her diverse legal background, strong work ethic, and commitment to client service, Bogle Law's founding attorney brought Attorney Verona to the team to help strengthen and expand the firm's family law practice.
Attorney Verona represents clients in a broad range of family law matters affecting families at every stage of life. She assists young families with issues involving minor children, including parenting plans, timesharing, child support, paternity, and custody-related matters. She also advises professionals, business owners, and high net worth individuals on protecting their personal and financial interests through prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and represents clients in both contested and uncontested dissolutions of marriage. Her approach combines strategic advocacy with practical, client-centered solutions tailored to each family's unique circumstances and goals.
During her legal education in the United States, Attorney Verona honed her advocacy skills through the Child and Family Services Clinic at UMKC, where she represented clients in child custody, adoption, and paternity matters as a Rule 13 Certified Legal Intern. She also interned at the Hope House Domestic Violence Shelter, providing legal support and courtroom advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. In addition, she gained valuable judicial insight as a Judicial Intern for Judge Beth Phillips of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, strengthening her research, writing, and litigation skills through direct exposure to court proceedings.
Before dedicating her practice to family law, Attorney Verona worked in customer service and administrative roles within the financial sector, serving as a Loan Coordinator at North American Savings Bank. This experience enhanced her understanding of financial documentation, asset management, and client relations, knowledge that continues to benefit clients facing complex financial issues in divorce and other family law matters.
Outside the office, Attorney Verona enjoys staying active through dance and Zumba classes, which reflect her passion for music and movement. She also has experience as a theater instructor, bringing creativity, confidence, and strong interpersonal communication skills to her legal practice. Attorney Verona is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenging family transitions with dignity, confidence, and informed decision-making, providing thoughtful counsel and steadfast advocacy every step of the way.
